We will be taking our pics in October and FI is worried about not having my ring for just in case the photog wants to do a hand shot. Of course im like you better get to it and he gives me this look. I dont harp on him about it because I know whats the hold up for not having it yet. I suggested I could go to claires and just get a fake one and maybe have the photog glare it out a lil but he was not happy with idea..so what should I do ?

i say go to claires. Why doesn't your fiance like that idea? you getting a pm in 2 seconds.

I agree Claire's or Walmart you don't really need close ups of the ring until the big day but you need something on your finger for pics

Right..thats what i told him. I showed him some e pics where u can see the ring but its not closeup but I want to have something. Hes txting me now about this thats why i asked...he said he feels bad about it and im trying to assure him im ok with it (cause i really am) and i know its coming..but its just for pics.

I say go to the mall and get one. You could do the pics where you see a ring on your hand but it doesn't show the detail.

Yes..im just gonna go to claires and get a little fake it til u make it ring. I want to say if you feel that bad about it then go get my ring..lol when i buy it ill pip . I told him i will let the photog know ahead of time so it wont be an aqward feeling when we get to the site and everything will be natural and not have the tension of explaning as we are taking the pics.

I had a 'place holder" for 4 months. It was $100 at walmart; people loved it. Also try KMart, as they have some nice rings for under $100. But I LOVE the Claries idea. Or even yet, tell your photog not to take any close up hand photos and wear a ring  your already own on that finger just to give an impression.

Also you can try overstock- they have amazing and reasonable rings to pick from...
