So I'm fininshing up my BM gifts today and I wanted to show what I've done so far just in case there are any ladies out there looking for ideas. I've made a gift basket including:
- a notepad with floral print cover ($1)
- a pedicure set
- a soft facial cloth wrapped in pink ribbon
- a flower ring (that I made, it's very easy PM me for the diy steps)
- flower soaps
- a thank you card tied closed with a pink ribbon
- two flowers
- lotion
- a charm bracelet (that I made myself with supplies from Michaels. A nice personalized touch: each bracelet is different. I chose charms that were unique to each BM and when I present it to them on a card sized cardstock sheet. I'll write a short note telling why I chose each charm for them, most of the charms
are to remind them of fun memories we've had together!) - candles in a small gift box (which I decorated with pink ribbon and glued flowers to decorate the top)
This entire project ran me just under $100 total and I have 7 BM. All supplies were bought at Michaels arts and crafts and everything else from Dolllar Tree.
For the budget brides, it helps to be a bit creative and artistic. You can make items from the dollar store look like they were purchased from a boutique!!! This project was really fun to do and I know they'll absolutely love it!
