***Knottie Cruise 2012***

Ummm... this is a sarcastic call-out. So, take it for what it is. lol

So... THANKS SO MUCH to everyone who participated in the conference call and to ALL {ONE} of you who voted on a destination for the cruise! I know how excited everyone was about this cruise and I LOVE all of the enthusiasm that's still being showed since I've started planning!!! 

In other news, since only ONE person voted on a destination, I take it as no one is still interested in the cruise. I know that the one person that voted said she's down no matter what, and there was one other person on the call that said the same thing. So, at this point, I take it that these are the only 2 people that are interested. With that in mind, the cruise has been CANCELLED until more people decide that they want to participate.

Now, for the 2 people that ARE interested, I will be getting with you. My fam and I are still going! Anyone else who may be interested, let me know. But I won't be taking anymore polls. This will be a cruise for me an my fam and anyone who is interested in going can come as well.

Awww man Ty, I sincerely apologize about the call.  I wrote it down in my planner and everything.  I was fresh out of class that evening and doing homework while it was fresh on my  mind.  I completely forgot.  I didn't vote b/c they were all 5-7 day cruises and I'm not sure if I will be able to take all of that leave after just coming back from a honeymoon.  Soooooo, again I really apologize for my actions or lack there of.  I really appreciated you taking time out of your busy schedule to get a conference call for us.

It's ok. I just thought that I'd have a better outcome since everyone was so hype about meeting each other. I know that I had 42 people to vote on the budget, but about 5 girls on the conference call... what's up with that? lol

I missed it, Ty where are you going for the cruise?  Sounds fun, but me and water, I don't know about all that.

LOL! Girl, me either! But I'ma press. This will be my 1st cruise! I haven't picked yet. But I think we will be going with whichever cruise Soon2BSand picked.

Trust!! You will love it and I bet you will want to go on another one in 2013. If my wedding wasn't during your cruise I would be there. And since we have Galvestion done the street it would be nothing but a thang. Please keep posting your final plans because FI also has never been on a cruise and I think he would love to go in 2013.

Ha Tyboyd no need to be sarcastic. I completely empathize with your frustration. I know that I along with my fellow knotties are very grateful to you for taking the time out to do coordinate this GTG (although our non-participation may appear to indicate the contrary)

Plain and simple I could not make the call and the thought of listening to the recorded call after the fact seemed like a waste to me since I did not have strong opinions about the surrounding details. I was waiting for the ultimate destination to be revealed to see if I would be able to go.

I am still interested and if possible would like to do a Knottie vacay.

Cmon Tyboyd cut us some slack! LOL (You remember how hard it is to balance a million things and plan a wedding).

Maybe you could make a private email thread (not on the TK) about the time/place/price to get more participation.

Just a sugesstion!

Lol I'm still down no matter what!  Just a suggestion but my FI brought up some good points : Would it be easier and cheaper to do a weekend meeting in a city? Like Atlanta , Houston, Miami? What do you guys think? He said he was surprised we picked a cruise since ppl would be pressed for days off and finances when planning their weddings (which is true)

I am rarely on here any more. I have planned plenty of events so I know what it can be like to have a lack of participation. To be honest. gGive people a date, cost and destination and if they come they will come.
