Creepy? Ring Help please!

I'm stressing out about my budget. Started thinking about the rings. My e-ring, which I won't have until August is not in the budget, but our bands are. FI wants us both in gold. Then I thought about my grandmothers ring, which was my great grandmothers. I got it when she passed. I don't wear it because its big. It's also thicker. I'm thinking of getting it sized, polished, and just using it. Kind of overwhelmed me to think I would wear her ring everyday ( in a postive way). I would have to change my e-ring choice, likely a thin band solitaire like FI wants, but both rings together seem to have so much meaning to me. What you think? Is this creepy?

Not creepy at all I think it's sweet and a great way to remember both women

It's not creepy. "Other people" pass down wedding jewelry all the time. I wish I had something from my grandparents. And if you change your mind in the future, you could always switch out to another ring.

I don't think it's creepy at all. i think it's sweet. and on the plus side, you can always save up for the one you want in a couple years or so and then wear your grandmothers ring as a right hand ring or pass it down to your daughters.

I don't think it's creepy at all. I think it's a wonderful way to honor them. i wish I had something of my grandmothers' to wear on my wedding day.
