This is our weekly post of encouragement, ideas, and anything having to do with our weight loss experiences. Please jump right in and share your victories and setbacks & ask any questions:


Today I am starting a 21 day "My fit foods" challenge. Similar to a meal plan but they also recommend you eat 5 small meals a day for 21 days. The are located in 5 areas across my city so I will give it a try.

Even though I'm keeping my calories down I don't think I'm getting a balanced diet.

This week my weight stayed the same.

    Thank you Carla for doing this post. I was in class all day and I am so tired!

    I lost 3 lbs this week and I realized that I was nearing my goal weight. I need to start toning seriously. I do not want to loose any more weight. I am happy with my weight now. So I have dropped working on the elliptical machine, even though I love it. :-( I am going to continue to go to boot camp but on the days I was on the machine, I will be doing strength training so I can tone.

    I have a question? How can I maintain the weight that I am. I do not want to lose anymore weight.

    Congrats on getting to the weight you want to be!!!!

    There are online calculators that you can enter your height, age and weight and it will tell you how many calories you should maintain each day to stabilize your weight according to how often you exercise.

    I'm also happy with my weight but I need to slim down a little more for my dress. After the wedding I want to maintain where I am now.
