Need some info for another check - mini-moon info

FI and I are taking a mini-moon after the wedding and today we decided to go to MIAMI baby!  So even though I'm a Florida girl neither of us have been there.  Any info or tips ladies?   We really want to see a few sights, stay in a decent place and have a good time.  Neither of us are club people but like to see whats out there.  TIA!

    You've never been to Miami?!!! Shame on you!

    Go to south beach and eat at a trendy restaurant or I highly reccomend doing a food tour:


    Best on the beach staying is in Sunny Isles- not as pricy as south beach and close to a great place to shop , the beach, and several restaurants.

    Try Newpoert Beachside Resort, and my personal fave the Westin Diplomat

    Shop at Aventura Mall

    Go to the club at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino- you can also go for a night out at a restaurant.

    Go to the Everglades and do a swamp airboat tour

    Spend a day at the beach: sleep on the beach, parasail, or jet ski

    Historical and pretty places: Vizcaya , The Coral Castle

    Hot outside but fun: Seaquarium and the Zoo

    @ Yes girl!! LOL I have NEVER been to MIA before.  I know that is sad right?? But now we can both check it off our lists.  I'm gonna blame it on the military though. LMBO. Once I went in, my intent was NEVER to come back to FL and look at me now.  WOOOW!! Laughing

    Omg I love MIA. I go every year. Whatever u do you are going to have fun. If you like cuban food I suggest you go to Larios on Ocean Ave. Doing the beach thing on south beach can be expensive if you want. Renting an umbrella and chair i think is like 30. If I think of anything else I will let you know. But enjoy you will have alot of fun.

    I agree with Shabuka but if you've never been to Miami you have to do it at least once. Its way cheaper to go to Sunny Isles, Halouver, or Hallandale beach
