Am I the only person not wearing pearls or incorporating them into the wedding???

I've been looking around on the galleries at wedding pics, and have been to two weddings this year where the brides are all wearing pearl chokers and bracelets and are even including them in their bouquets and florals. I have NEVER been the pearls type of girl, they've just always seemed so matronly and understated, but seeing them on the brides lately they really look nice. I still prefer the bling factor though. Am I alone in this? Am I the only bride not wearing pearls???

Nope you are not alone.  I do not plan on using pearls in my wedding.  They are classy pieces, but I am also going for bling!!

I'm not a pearls girl either. Never have been. I,personally, find them boring. JMO. But i would just do whatever works for you as a person.

I like pearl studs, but I am not a big pearl type of person, and will not be wearing a pearl necklace, although I have seen some beautiful rhinestone and pearl combinations.

I'm the only person in my family who doesnt wear pearl earrings! I just cant do it. lol My 19 year old cousin wore them at her wedding this past July and although they looked classic and trendy, I truly feel they aged her. Maybe it's just me. I'm sticking with bling...lets just hope I dont go overboard!!!

No pearls for me. I love pearls and I do own some, but I prefer bling on my wedding day plus I feel bling complements my dress better than pearls.

I wear pearls on the regular, but not on me wedding day.  I have a custom made crystal set that compliments the crystals on my dress.

I am only using pearls because they are my something old and were my grandmother's (who passed away) they'll be wrapped around my bouquet

I looooooove pearls. Love them! I wear them everday. Pearl earrings, necklace, before I was engaged I wore a pearl ring and I even have pearls on my glasses lol. For the wedding I am doing a mix of diamonds and pearls. I don't think they look matronly. I think they are classy and elegant. My invites even have pearls. LOL! I'm a bit pearl obsessed.

I LOVE pearls, they are tasteful, timeless, and alluring. I wear pearls on a regular basis whether its my earrings or necklace or both.....I plan on wearing them on the wedding day....besides you know what they say "the pearl is the queen of gems and the gem of queens"

I agree, they do look nice on some people. It's just what  each person prefers for her big day. For me its BLING!!! lol. @Flasweetheart, those are very pretty!! :0)
