9. How did you and your fiance meet?  My bestfriend was going to school in ATL, and came home for winter break 2004. Her phone rang while she was in the restroom and it was FI she told me to answer after I told her who it was (she had been trying to hook me up with somebody) we stayed on the phone until 2am and ended up exchanging numbers and it was history from then on. I finally got to meet him personally during Spring Break, and we made it offical

10.  When did you get engaged and how did he do it??  Christmas 2008, FI invited my parents(from NY) to Atlanta for our first Chrismas in ATL( I always go home for xmas) So my parents, my 2 sisters, my aunt uncle and their 3 teens stayed in our 2 bedroom apartment (snug but wouldnt have had it any other way) On christmas FI told me he had to work (he is a cop and they force holidays so I wasnt surprised) I told him I asked Santa for him to be off today, but he suited up and left. The family went over to my Godfathers house for Xmas dinner and FI surprised me coming out the back door got on one knee and the cameras began to flash.

12. Where is the ceremony and reception? FI's parents home ceremony in the front tented reception in the back (they have a really big home)

13. What are your wedding colors? Royal Purple, Lilac, and Cream

14. Where are you honeymooning? Royal Caribbean's newest and biggest ship The Oasis of the Seas 7day cruise to St. Thomas, St. Maarteen, and the Bahamas(our first cruise so I am Siked)
15. Favorite wedding vendor so far? Sugar Kneads Cakery....Their cakes are soooo yummy and they are really friendly

16. Biggest wedding splurge? So far it will be the honeymoon, runner up the rentals    

17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? hmm, candy buffet, photobooth and fireworks for the send off (fiance is against the ideas)

18. Another knottie wedding you'd like to attend? All my AAW sisters, I love everyones ideas and would love to see them pulled off.

19. Favorite book? I have so many but Coldest Winter Ever is a top, also I love the Broken Heart Vampire books by Michele Bardsley (Love, Sex, Vampires and other Creatures. awesome books)

20. Favorite movie? Clueless, Love and Basketball, Finding Nemo (lol I love movies too)

21. Favorite tv show? Right now, The Family Crews ( Terri Crews, from White Chicks, and his family. one of the best reality shows out I think)

22. Favorite wedding dress designer? Private Label by G

23. Any advice you can give?  Live Love Laugh!!!!  Wedding planning should be fun but dont let it consume your life to the point that you forget what your planning it for.

24. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding? I wish I had an EASY BUTTON!!! But anything worth having is worth working hard for!

25. Share something about yourself!!  I am a hopless romantic in love with the arts, the planning, and my man (alot more but who cares to listen )

Fun read! Yay for Christmas proposals! We had one too. I recently moved from Lithonia. I grew up on the Eastside...in Decatur though. Now, I'm a couple of hours away...middle GA.

How many people are you inviting to your wedding?

About 225 , the bulk is my coworkers, my FMIL is the principal of the school I work at so she feels that if everyone is not invited they will talk mess and things would be messy. She is paying for the food so I didnt see it as a problem
