Fi informed me that he is not interested in attending the cake tasting. I knew I had a situation on my hand with this. I called the MOH and made her aware of the circumstances I was in. She said " I usually would not want to step in to replace FI but, for this time and this time only, I will be willing to make the difficult sacrifice of replacing him for the cake tasting"
