Dress shopping in 6 hours...havent picked colors!!

Im going dress shopping today and tomorrow with the BM's and i havent picked wedding colors! what the hell?!

HELLPPPPPPP!!! I like Blue as the main color

but gold is HOT too! but not blue and gold together. maybe purple and gold? ( my HS colors)

ugh....this is why i dont paint....theres way too many choices.

what kind of blue?  navy, royal, baby, sky, tiffany, seafoam,  :O  no help right?

Under one of TKs tabs planning or tools I think, there's an option to see colors sorted by combination or by one as a primary color, try it out and see what you like the look of.   neither of my colors are my favorite standalones, but they're my favorite combination.

Well at first i liked royal, then i vaguely remembered a hood wedding I once went too. So if i go with Royal, I cant go with silver too. it just brings back terrible memories.

I was browsing thru the colors last night for a few minutes, but nothing caught my eye.

I REALLY like Royal and tiffany blue. orginally the colors were purple, but im bored with that now too. Im going to see what colors the girls look nice in and go from there i guess

This is what happened to me.  My BMs were 16, so I first had to find an age-appropriate dress (which was way harder than I thought it would be) and then choose from the colors it came in.  I know it's a weird way to approach it, but if you need to see things first to get ideas like I do, it will all fall into place.

also consider that you don't have to limit it to two colors, that's just the standard.  you can pick something with a theme in it, like winter wonderland which incorporates all the shades of winter, white, blue, silver, grey, bling.  summer berries, burgundy, strawberry, cherry, peach and pink.   whatever you use to guide, your dress or your color preferences, see if you can think of all the elements you like and then put it together as a palette.    google the term inspriation board and you'll see what I mean, there's no one color that sticks out.   I agree with everybody else though, it will fall into place.

I remeber terrible long royal dresses....6 heads of quickweave, and satin white shawls. it was just terrible.

Im a vey visual person, and even seening color combos onlien doesnt help me much. Im gunna check out the dresses today, and then i just thought about going to home depot and throwing some paint samples together and going off of that

No, I'm serious; too much blue everywhere. So I'm doing black and white, having the blue as a secondary color. Silver only accents, and its a old silver, grey-ish silver. Not shinny silver. But hey, its it will bring back too many bad memories...Another thing you have kinda of talked about is using a few blues...that would be very pretty to work in a family of blues. </div><div>

My colors that i fell in love with...although im thinking of changing the Lavender to possible Magenta (either way these colors will all be incorporated in the wedding....fill free to use them if u like!
