We go engaged on 2/6/10 (my bday weekend) So I thought we were just going to dinner to celebrate my bday and when I got home from getting my hair done there was a suitcase in the floor and he sent me  a txt saying pack something for over night so I thought we were going out of town so we left and headed downtown. We ended up at Motor City Casino Hotel. We checked in and ordered room service and he gave me a dozen rosses so I'm still clueless. After dinner he asked if I was ready for my gift and I as like oh yeah lol. So he put a blind fold on me lol and went to get my gift.  He then came back and when I took it off he was on one knee with a little red box in his hand and boy the tears started flowing so he told me some nice words and asked me to spend the rest of his life with him. Posted by PB-Bride2010
The guest list has been the most stressfull. I didn't think of numbering the back of the rsvps so I got a bunch back with no names, some people changed my 1 to a 4 and my 1 to a 2. People asking if they can bring a date when they weren't event invited themselve. Other than that it's been good and I hope it stays that was for the next 25 days!! Wish me luck lol

    Posted by Carla1019
Oh man I still have to finish the programs, get the FG accessories and shoes. Follow up with vendors and make final payments this week. I'm meeting with all my vendors in the next two weeks. Decide if I'm getting a sew in or not. Have final dress fitting. I'm sure there's more that I just can't think of right and I hope I remember it soon lol

Enjoyed reading! Do you know Coming to America by heart? Girl, I know i do! lol  Favorite of all time! But anywho, are you expecting a large crowd at the wedding? Also did you all date ten years? If so, what has been the glue that has held you two together or how do you guys keep each other happy?

    Posted by japonica334
Girl yes!!! My fav part is when stew falls down the stairs in the apartment trying not to pay his rent LMAO. FI love this movie too and insists that he's going to break out into a rendtion of "She's my Queen" during the ceremony lol and he can't sing a lick.

We're expecting about 165 and that's up from our original # of 150.

No we didn't date the whole 10 years but it's funny beacuse even though we fell apart we some how kept staying in touch and the last time we lost touch was for about 2 years or so and when we got back in touch come to find out he lived in  another apartment complex next to mine ( I mean in walking distance) now tell me that wasn't God moving!! I love it!! That was in 2007 and we've been inseperable every since!!

    Posted by mikimoto6
Actually it may sound cheesy but I really did know he was the one when I first met him but I was not ready and still immature and stuck on my x who was bad for my health. It was about a week or so before we reconnected and I actually prayed to God to lead me in the right direction and bring me someone. I swear the next day or so I got an email from FI.  I knew then God sent him for me! FI has always treated me with the utmost respect and he will go through he** and high water to make sure I'm happy. He puts me first in everyway.

Oooh honeymoon I can't wait lol. We're going to San Diego for a week. We're staying at Lowes Hotel & Resort. It's so beautiful and we may drive to LA that week as well since it's only a few hours away.

I'm most looking forward to seeing all the planning come together and walking down the isle to FI (I'm a HUGE cry baby so I hope I can see past the tears) lol

I sure will tell Ms. Dayna Dayne hello she is a nut and I love her. She's actually in charge of planning the bachelorette party so we will see what the heck she has me doing lol

Both rooms are gorgeous I just feel in love with the stained glass I would have felt like a queen if we could have afforded that place or if they weren't book on my freaking wedding date! So its going to be FABULOUS cant wait to see the pics and hear all about it.

Tell them people to shut up or you will punch them in their throat (team danni from bridezilla lol) I told my family to stop asking me until they see me with a big belly. FI's mom said I can get pregnant now and I will still be able to fit in my dress I had to give her the blank stare and keep it moving

That is a cute idea I am struggling with making this decision and FI is not helping me he said we dont have to buy them nothing. WTF he is a hotmess.com sometimes
