DIY or allow resort to play their part

Trying to be conscious of my spending during my vow renewal however things seem to becoming complicated. I've done some research on my own trying to reduce the costs and its not working for ie, the resort would supply a cake that feeds 10 people which is not enough I can purchase a cake from a local bakery at $6 p/p per slice so for about 20 people its $120.00 plus delivery for $90.00 and then flowers are given (roses) a bouquet and a boutonnier for my husband however I want calli lillies and that's $180.00 and the boutonnier is $20.00 or I could let the resort order for the same price and pay for delivery. I just never knew things could get so overwhelming, however i must admit that I work good under pressure but this is a different kind of pressure SMH. Please help with your advice

  • "the resort would supply a cake that feeds 10 people which is not enough I can purchase a cake from a local bakery at $6 p/p per slice so for about 20 people its $120.00 plus delivery for $90.00"

If I read that right, are you looking to feed 20 people cake?  If the resort is supplying a 10 person cake included in your package, could they also supply a second cake?  20 people - voila!
  • " then flowers are given (roses) a bouquet and a boutonnier for my husband however I want calli lillies and that's $180.00 and the boutonnier is $20.00 or I could let the resort order for the same price and pay for delivery."

If you are willing to consider other flowers (for the same of saving some cash), maybe you could get a premade florist bouquet rather than a special order?  I'm hoping to go with Albertson a grocer with a floral shop inside.
  • Yes I knew their would be someone I could count on thanks so much will inquire about a cake for 10 more people for the additional cost.
