Shower Question

Hi Ladies,

I am getting married October 14, 2011 and am having a small wedding, 60 guests. I have a shower guest list of 20 people.  My MOH and Personal Attendant (Real MOH) are hosting the shower.  I don't have a lot of thoughts or preferences on the shower.  MOH seems a little put out that I don't want to give more imput on the planning.  I honoestly don't care what they do for the shower. I am treating the shower as a gift so therefore I just want to show up and buy a new dress to wear.  I am planning the wedding, so I feel like that is my party.  The shower is supposed to be their project.

I should not have to do anything else, IMO. Am I off base?

Have you told them that you don't care what they do? If not you may want to give a few preferences of what your down for or not down for. Ex: my sister ask me if strippers are ok...Which its not. Although its their project, they may just need your help guiding the party in the right direction. If all they want is feedback give it to them. Now on the other hand if their asking what you want to do, then I suggest you give just a few ideas about what you like/want to do or just say  ladies " I really don't care what we do as long as we're having fun!!
