Where did you and FI/DH meet?

In college at the University of Memphis.  He is a Sigma and I'm an AKA and we did alot of community service and on campus activities together.  The year we started dating the Sigmas and AKA's through a party and it is history from there!

We met while I was working in Iraq and on deployment. He kept coming to my office and I was trying not to pay him any attention....But he wasn't going for that. lol

At a club LOL...so romantic huh? lol. I was like eww who is this dude with the lame haircut and clothes tryna get my number? then have the nerve to give me a business card, but it was something about him. His "something" that wasnt the "norm" was perfect for me.

We technically first met online. As Harry Potter people we were watching an event online and there were only about 5 of us on the chat and we were talking. I mentioned I was from the San Francisco area and he asked if I knew two girls from the area that he had recently met at an event in London and I did know them, they are 2 of my very good friends (one of them is a BM). We started a relationship over the internet since he is in Belgium and that May we met in person on a trip to a Harry Potter Confrence in Boston.

I love reading about where everyone met!  FI and I met in a sports bar/grill in Atlanta - we were both there watching the NBA finals with friends.

FI and I met at my dorm freshman year of undergrad at UGA. We were friends for a minute and it eventually grew into something deeper.

Well I saw him before he saw me.. Actually I was standing right next to him but he didn't see me. (Im 5'1) A few years later we offically met on our church van.

FI and I met at networking mixer that my chapter (AKA) hosted.  He was President of his Alpha chapter in the same city at the time.  We talked for few minutes at the mixer but didn't think much of it.  About 6 months later, our chapters are hosting an event together so we end up at a joint committee meeting. We talk briefly again, but nothing more than small talk.  Another joint project comes up and we end up on that committee together.  After the third time, he asked me out to dinner and we have been together since then.

FI and I met in AZ in the backstage greenroom of a theatre. He was a member of the crew and i the cast/crew. He was sitting with the other crew guys and I was the only cast member (at the time) to introduce myself to them. We eventually had a "showmance" during the tour. Rest is history.lol

We met at work. I was his manager and I could not stand his arrogant butt at first but now I love him to pieces (His story says he was the manager but I know the truth lol)

We met through a mutual friend at a frat party while in undergrad at Georgia Southern...lol. Sounds horrible, but I see that so many have similar stories! We became really good friends, then I became his Soror, then 3 years later I gave in to his relentless pursuit...lol. Kidding, but not really.

At work.  The company had three building for each of its divisions.  We worked in separate divisions but his department (IT) served the entire company so I would run into him from time to time.  But ultimately we met through a hookup.  The "matchmaker" as she was known to the whole company worked under me and decided that the FH and I would be perfect together.  So she told him she had someone for him to meet, me.  And she was right, we were perfect for each other.

I had been working at a company for a year and he was working for the same company for six, but in another state.  He ended up transferring to my state, city, and wouldn't you know it, my office too!!!! He was interested in me and asked me out tons of times but I blew him off for the first six months that we knew each other. I'm so glad that he was persistent and that certain circumstances brought him to me because he was originally supposed to transfer to Texas.
