Wedding Colors

Hi all it is kind of dead up here tonight but I hope i get some good responses. FI and I were going to go with light gray and turquoise as our wedding colors. I have been noticing that is is hard to find things in those colors and also my mom and aunt keep telling me that those are prom colors. So I want to keep blue because FI likes blue I was thinking about switching the colors to teal and maybe light gray. What do you guys think and can someone please give me color suggestions! Help

there are tonnes in turquoise my wedding was turquoise and chocolate so from my experience i found stuff the shades maybe a lil off but i still loved it

I think you're colors are fine. Maybe add red for a pop.

Just attended a wedding this past weekend that the gm wore gray and bm all wore turquoise dresses and the moh wore magenta. It looked fine and not promish.

My colors are cobalt blue and yellow but FI will be wearing a grey suit.  I think your colors will be very nice together.

i think your colors are fine! It doesn't seem prom-y to me. David's Bridal's colors Mercury (kind of a light grey) and Pool (light blue) & even their new color Peacock (dark teal-ish) are some options to look at. Stop by their store and pick up some swatches because the color online and from different monitors looks different in person.

I agree your colors are fine like another knottie mentioned add a color to make it pop.... You can do red like she said or even add purple. Turquoise,eggplant and gray looks great together.

Thanks everyone I will go to DB and see what they have. Also I am going to check around. I like the way the colors look together but I don't want to look back years from now and ask myself what was I thinking LOL.
