Hello Ladies.....I will be leaving tomorrow for a work related conference in Kansas City, MO.....I hope I will be able to stay off THE KNOT and not be tempted to get on it from my work computer. LMBO....Well I really can't big brother might be watching me.
Anyhow, I got so exciting news from one of my BM's. She called last night telling me she will be picking me up from the airport, because they're giving my a surprise shower. I AM SO EXCITED TO BE HAVING MY VERY FIRST SHOWER. I don't know any of the details other than it is being hosted by my 2 BM's and some other friends. We are all attending the same conference, but knowing all these ladies are flying in early just to host something for me does my HEART A LOT OF GOOD.
Secondly, Roland Martin.....crazy behind will be our guest motivational speaker on Monday night....I LOVE ROLAND. He is a true voice for blacks. I know he will give us a show and it will be very educational and entertaining. I can't wait for the book signing ceremony and hopefully we will be allowed to take pictures.
Lastly, the night I am scheduled to arrive back in Columbus my FI and I will be having dinner with some BIG WIGS from his company to celebrate my FI continue work ethics and hard work with the company. I am a little nervous, yet super excited for my FI....they're even ordering very expensive wine and everything,,,,,expensive like $250+
