Ladies,

I’m sorry; I’m so late writing this it has truly been a world wind around here. I hate to go but I know it’s time. I will say that it feels strange not planning anything now so enjoy the moments. I planned on having my wedding on the beach at 9:00am on Saturday, September 29th on Miami Beach, FL. We flew from Texas on Friday, September 28th with my MOH/BFF and met up with her husband. Our flight was at 6:00 am so we were up at 4:30 am and my FI was looking for breakfast (I told him it wasn’t going to happen). We slept on the plane all the way to Florida and pick up MOH husband. After checking into the hotel, we planned to meet in an hour to find some dinner and activities.
My FI decide he should be able to hit it one last time as a single man before the wedding (his words) and proceeded to chase me around the room. I’m truly laughing at him as I promise that it will not change once we say “I Do”, but he is determined and we are playing around on the bed and then it happened. I start having muscle spasms (female area) and I’m in so much pain, I can’t get off the bed. He starts to freak out, I try to calm him down but I can’t move. Now, I’ve had muscle spasms before but was hoping they were over since the hysterectomy. After about an hour my MOH & her husband calls us but I can’t get off the bed, still in pain (she is no help as they are laughing at us). He threatens to call 911 for an ambulance so I send him to the store for some medication. I have a wedding tomorrow morning and do not have the time to go to the hospital (bridal moment…I can’t process the fact if I can’t walk I can’t get married). After a lot of medication, I’m able to move around a few hours later.
Before my MOH could help me get the girls (38G) in the corset, I had to help her into her dress (truly hilarious). Once, we are dressed, I meet FI in the lobby for a first look. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and romantic……..it was everything I wanted….simple, beautiful, romantic and all about us. My photographer was GREAT…she did all of the shots I wanted plus some extra. There were very few people on the beach and they were so far away that it was like we were on the only couple. My husband LOVED his ring and I LOVED mine (we did not show each other until the wedding).
I will say that everyone wanted me to have a big wedding in my hometown but I really wanted a beach wedding with minimal people there. After receiving the blessing from our parents we got exactly what we wanted. I would not change a thing……………After the wedding we went out to eat and later boarded our cruise ship for our 7 day eastern cruise. I cannot tell you how much fun I had snorkeling, playing in the water and relaxing with my husband. I only have a few pics to share for now………
Ladies, enjoy your moment and make it about you two and the love you have for one another.
