crafty eddy cake topper finished... I have some Do's and Dont's PIP

Okay So all my DIY crafty eddy ladies: when eddy tells you to be carfeul, the topper is fragile.. he means it! I broke the leg off my "L" and I had to hot glue it back together. (Mistake #1)
DONT use a hot glue gun, because the glue comes from under the bling and looks really tacky (mistake #2) .
I ended up taking off all the bling that i glued on with the hot glue gun, repainting, and gluing it again with elmers. It came out beautiful, and you cant tell that i made any mistakes.
 Overall, if I had the extra $65, I would have let the person that eddy suggested to do it.

    If you hadn't said a word i wouldn't have known that you made mistakes it turned out lovely! Thanks for all the advice will be startin to work on mine in a couple of weeks just put my order into crafty eddy on Friday.

    It looks great! And thanks for the tip! I just got my topper yesterday.  I opened it up and YES my cake pic came off too.  Ouch that hurt! Well I am having my FFIL fix it for me since he loves working with wood. Sadly, if I had been in my right mind when I kept looking at the toppers I might have just let my FFIL make one for us. 

    Anyway! Thanks for the tip and I like your bling!  What did you paint it with??

    Looks great! I just ordered a cards sign from him on Friday, I had too much extra bling that I don't want to go to waste

    I painted it with acrilic paint i found at michaels for like a buck.
