Married Woman Recap and story

Ladies,

I am finally back in the building from having the wedding of my dreams. Can I just say that the day turned out to be more than I expected. From the rehearsal dinner to the actual wedding itself. Did things go wrong? Heck Yeah!!!

Friday before the wedding I had to gather a couple of my friends to finish downloading the music to my cd favors (last minute), my programs didn't get done until the day of the wedding. That morning of the wedding my bridesmaids had to help put bows on all 225 programs. Can you say nightmare????

Friday night, several of my bridesmaids spent the night at the hotel with me, I was so nervous and crazy that I got up at 5:30am (after going to bed at 1:00am) and went to my mothers house to help tie up loose ends. Saturday I ended up getting back to my hotel around 11:30am to start with makeup and hair. When I say I waited til the 11th hour for everything personal I did. Literally within 1-hour I transformed into a whole nother person. From a lacefront wig, to makeup, to the dress, shoes and garter. I had one 1hour. Once we got to the church around 2:30 (mind you my wedding was supposed to start at 2:00pm), my mother was not there. We could not start the procession without her. She arrived 10 minutes after we did, lord save me. Once the procession started it was beautiful. However, the church messed up the music for my flower girl and the bringing down of the white carpet. I was hot and I was in the back going off. Finally, it was my turn to go down the aisle and I walked down to "faith evans, "never gonna let you go." I didn't cry and I was so at peace. The ceremony it'self lasted about 30 minutes in total.

The reception:
The guy that held the keys to the receptions' son was in a car accident. None of my vendors could get in and set up food, cake, the bar or the tables. Needless to say I was HOT once again. However none of my guests knew what was going on only the wedding party. My DJ was phenomenal though. He did his thing. From my first dance with my new husband to my hand dance with my father, to our line dance that I surprised my husband with IT WAS SUPER AWESOME. All in all the bad is that several things fell through but they ended up turning out just right including the vendor not being open on time and available, the cake not being able to be delivered, my food vendor not following through with the whole contract and my music not being just right. However none of it mattered in the moment.

Unfortunately I have a helluva lot of pics on FB that I don't have time to tag in this post but I will get back to it on tomorrow. If you want, you can befriend me on FB and see all of my pics that were tagged and my wedding salute video to my husband. My FB name is Maisha Willard

Does anyone know how to post videos?
