SN: 50 shades of grey

I guess I haven't been able to plan because i have been so consumed in the book 50 shades of grey.. Have anybody read it?

No but I am reading Sex in the Santuary lol. My FFIL gave my FMIL 50 Shades and the sequel for Mother's Day. She supposed to give them to me when she is done.

FI said that I need to read this because apparently this makes women horny.  I told him I dont need to be any more horney than I already am since we are celebate.  I'll start it after the wedding

Yes, I just finished reading the second book 50 Shapes darker. I love the story but I'm disappointed in the author. This story did not have to be a trilogy but I"m sure she did this to compete with Twilight. There is discussion of making a movie.

I'm glad this book was free because I would have been mad if I paid for it.

ETA: Go to the reviews of this book on Amazon, they are so funny.

A co-worker mentioned this book to me and suggested that I read it.  I've read the reviews and have been debating whether or not to buy the book.  So I was able to download the first two chapters on my Kindle for free but haven't had the time to sit down and read it.

I read ALL THE TIME, sometimes 2-3 books at a time. So people who know me are surprised when I tell them that I really don't have an interest in reading the novel. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading some good smut every now and then, but  I'm just not into the whole BDS&M thing.

A lot of my facebook friends were talking about how good it was so I decided to read it.  I got the audio version for my Kindle.  I didn't like it at all! I wanted to stop, but I made myself finish it.   It had no story line at all.  It was mostly about sex! I was disappointed.  The ending was the best.  I heard book 2 and 3 is better, but I can't bring myself to read it.  So I asked my co-worker what happened   in the other 2 and she told me.

I'm the same way. I had pretty much made up my mind that this was one popular book that I wasn't going to read, but after reading the reviews on Amazon like missowens suggested, I'm definitely not going to read it.
