CAT SHOP CLOSED FOR 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK ladies FI and I decided to STOP having any kind of sexual encounters until wedding. This is effective 07/01-10/01 wedding.  Is or have anyone else done this???? We don't live together so that one good thing and we stay 1 1/2 hrs apart.
The relationship is not based on sex but we TRULY enjoy each other Wink.

    Yes. 316 days and counting.

    Learn to make love in other ways and don't put yourself in compromising positons (like undressing in front of him and knowing your limits with kissing, etc).

    Seek God and you'll be fine but make sure God is the reason you're doing it otherwise you've failed before you started. What are you guys going to do to replace that act? Cause... chile. LOL

    Good answer, I needed to hear that,  Thanks, Yes God is that reason so I know we will be ok. We both want to lose a little weight before the wedding to we will replace it with working out.     FI and I are not. Although both of us say that we can, we just choose not to. Plus, we live together, so it makes it a bit harder. Really work at it and try to keep boundaries. Find other ways of intimacy. Good luck with it.

    I get married on August 27th and we agreed in June to stop until the wedding. It's killing me but I don't want to be the one to give in so I'm  sticking to it. We'd like to start a family right away (i'm 34, he's 39 later this month) so we're building steam to get things rolling when the wedding night arrives.

    Oh girl I feel you on this one.  It has been since Nov of last year for FI and I. We are waiting until the wedding in Feb of next year.  HEAVEN HELP US!!!   We live together and even sleep in the same bed.  I will tell you it is SUPER hard but we are doing it because we believe that there will be a greater blessing for us in the end.  We have set bounders that we do not cross.  Once you set the bounders it will get easier to just live by them.  Also Soon2BSands is right it has helped us to discover other ways to be intimate with each other.  In the long run it will make the relationship stronger. 


    A couple days ago Soon2BSands posted Undercover lover you should read it.  Great advice on this topic.   Good luck!

    Oh and 1 more thing I forgot.  If you do slip up and go past the bounders you set that is not a free for all.  Repent together, pray together, and get right back in line with what you guys agreed on.  The most important thing is don't put yourself in a situation that can lead to you guys doing something.  Stay prayed up and talk about it.  When he is weak you need to be strong.  When you are weak he needs to be strong.  Trust me both of you will have your moments of weakness.  Thankfully for FI and I it has not happened at the same time.  Laughing

    Fi and I stopped "sex" when we sent the invitation out but we have been doing other things, I love it. It is playiing with fire sometimes. We have grown. with 2 days togo FI is really tryin to get the goodies. I think it is worth it. (and we live together). People count down to the wedding. I'm counting down to the wedding night.
