I am in love!! *cue the angelic choir*

So another late night for me, tying bows & stuffing envelopes for these 200+ invitations. Oh, why didn't I just go with FI's idea of just creating one big FB event & inviting everybody with just a few clicks lol jk jk (No way! lol smh) Anyway, I was doing some internet surfing and stumbled across a wedding card box that I had never seen before. It's basically decorated boxes stacked & designed to be a wedding card holder (pics below). It was love at first sight & now I want! But the thrifty side of me is trying to figure out if this can be DIY project. If so, I'm definitely gonna need tips cuz I don't want it to come out all janky or whateva. OK, back to these invites, just wanted to share.

    1.  Cardboard boxes of varying sizes,  maybe shoe boxes even,  adult and child
    2.  Paste (evenly spread)
    3.  Fabric to your liking (or even the fancy paper or gift wrap
    4. Matching bows.

  • I think the most important point in making these is to make sure the fabric or gift paper is tight around all the corners. These give instructions on various things like wrapping corners and materials used and where they were purchased. While, these may not be your style, I think this can help you DIY your own card box as you would like. Oh, you can also spray paint your card box, but I'm not sure which looks better.

You can read through the comments for her insturctions:

    How to wrap corners:

Step by step instruction & materials:

Instruction on bows and other things...hard for me to follow, but maybe you can:

Instructionsl are on the last page. This one is probably most closely related to your pics above:

hope this helps. I needed to look for this, too. So now I'll have it all in one place!!! I want to make one simular to this. I love many of her designs, but don't want to pay those prices.
