Should I use the song from Coming to America

My mom thinks I m crazy but I think it'll be a nice touch instead of using the usual bridal music when I walk down the isle.
I want my friends brother to sing the part when the girl that the prince is suppose to marry comes down the isle in the gold dress. It goes "shes your Queen to be forvever...
It'll be funny and unique.

What do you think?

    haha I thought of that too! It would definetly make for a nice laugh for your guest. Now if you can get the african dancers too, then I would say go with it!

    I went to a wedding where the bride came down the aisle to that song, but they made sure she arrived at the altar before the "completely free from infection" part...  ;)

    I thought about doing that but I didn't think all of my guests would find it amusing. It's a cute idea though. I say go for it!!

    When I first saw your postI thought, "Go for it!"  But the more I think about it, I wonder: Do you really want your guests to be laughing when you walk down the isle?  After you have worked so hard to pick the perfect dress, flowers, hair style, make-up, etc.  Do you want people to be thinking about "Coming to America" or how beautiful you are?  The song may be a little distracting.  But if that doesn't bother you....  Go for it!

    Ditto the previous two posts.  I have to say Coming to America is one of my fav movies and I would be the guest in tears from laughing so hard!  Maybe save it for the reception.

    Yea, I'm thinking it probably doesn't have a place in the ceremony.  That's going to be HILARIOUS, but if you are a free spirited and fun person who doesn't mind the laughter during your walk I say think about it LONG and HARD and then GO FOR IT!!
