What are you walking down to? Your Bridesmaids?

Just interested.  I can't decide if I want something traditional like Pachelbel's Canon in D (maybe an R&B mix) or something else.  How about your BMs?  What are the mom's walking down to?

Thanks!

I really am bad with music and usually need to hear the words to a song before I can recognize it, so I will not be using classical music because I'd probably never recognize my wedding song ever again :) and besides that...lyrics just mean a lot to me. However, I went to youtube and listened to this song and it is a beautiful arrangement so I think it is a good choice for you if you want to go the traditional route.

My song choices change weekly so I'm not sure what will actually make the cut for me, but it will be a gospel/love song for sure.

lol@eagles "so I will not be using classical music because I'd probably never recognize my wedding song ever again"

I definitely went outside the box on my songs. For the BMs and GMs, there are walking down to a beautiful song from an japanese anime series called Innocent Green and I'll be walking down to the Throne Room music for the last scene in Star Wars IV.  If you want to listen, I attached some links to the music.

I am walking down the aisle to Canon in D,
Trumpet Voluntary by Clarke for the bridal MOH and Flower girl entrance,
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach for the Mothers seating,
Ave Marie for the sand ceremony and
The Wedding March by Mendelssohn at the end.
Since we did not have all of this our first go around I wanted something very traditional and since our ceremony is on the beach we hired violinist to play instead of  a radio which I thought would be soooooooo cheesey and tacky.

Girls will walk down to something traditional. I will walk down to By Your Side by Sade on acustic guitar, Golden by Chrisette Michelle on violin, or Here and Now.

I actually switched around everything. But my bridal party will be walking to That somebody was you by Kenny G. feat. Toni Braxton and I will be walking down the aisle to When I First Saw You by Jamie Foxx and Beyonce'.

Don't forget you need a good exit! We did "Hard to Handle' by the Black Crowes. =)
