Hi Ladies,
My name is Kenya I'm new here to this website, I joined a few days ago.
I got engaged on 11/27 to my best friend...I mean he takes my breath away and that has been one of the best days of my life. The proposal was perfect, awesome, amazing...a bunch of other wonderful adjectives as well!
We are getting married on October 22, 2011 and having a TRUE Southern Style Wedding Reception....I mean fried chicken, greens...you name it plus some few extras the caterers said they could do for us. We are HOPING to have our reception at a historic BnB in Newport News, VA. We go on Saturday to meet with the wedding coordinator and see if we like it before we place our deposit. Its everything I wanted, cozy, intimate....I wanted my wedding reception to feel WARM thus...we picked the fall time of the year the colors of orange, rust, purple, chocolate....are all warm colors to me.
But I'm here to make friends, get tips and advice, I'm sure even though I'm organized I'm sure I'm going to have several mini break-downs and psychotic episodes between now and 10/21/2011.
