How much are you spending...

or do you plan on spending on your BM gifts? I saw this posted on my month board and the average was around $100 for each girl. I'm feeling cheap now, but that is not going to happen since I have 8 BMs. So far, I've spent about $40 each - I though that was enough, but now I'm thinking maybe I should pay for their hair as well. My stylist is charging each girl $25 to come on site for hair. What do you ladies think?

I only have 1 MOH and my Personal Attendant. I am giving my MOH the wedding day jewelry, but it can totally be worn after the wedding.  The lady who designed my jewelry created the set for her.

I am going to purchase and plant some of my personal attendant's fave flowers in her yard for her. She is in the process of re-landscaping her yard, so I wanted to do something for her that would be a lasting gift for her.  She and I have been friends since 6th grade and she has been amazing throughout this entire process.

I wanted to give them antique compact mirrors, but I haven't been able to find any.  All that said, I think their gifts will be around $250 per person.

I'm getting my girls Tiffany bracelets, personalized robes and a spa kit....these are like my best best best friends so I def wanted to get them something nice and wow them....I don't think 40 is too little....I did read somewhere that anything wedding related like hair etc shouldn't be considered a gift but i'm sure your ladies will appreciate it if you did

No don't feel cheap at all.  I have 4 girls (if my sister comes back) 1 Jr BM and 1 Flower girl.  I am buying them each a pair of shoes that I think fits their personality (not for the wedding).  I will not be spending more than $30 each.  I am hoping to catch a 6pm.com $14.95 sale. LOL  I am also purchasing shirts with team bride on them and hopefully a tote (if they go back on the $5 sale on the knot)

Look the point of the gift is to say thank you for being in the wedding and hey I love ya.  None of my BM expect anything crazy big.  If I DIY something they would be happy.  I know that this is an old saying but really it is the thought that counts.  Buy your girls something that you know each of them will love and appreciate.  It can be as small as a charm for a bracelet that has a special meaning for the two of you or a large as a weekend spa package.  The women you selected to be in your wedding are hopefully the women that know you the best and they know your heart.  They are not standing up with you on your wedding day to get a big gift they are standing up with you because they love you.

DON'T FEEL PRESSURE TO DO WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING.  We are all on here to encourage one another.  No one needs to keep up with the Jones'.  (((HUGS)))

I didn't spend that much on them.  I got them all pashimas (cover-ups), earrings and bracelets.  Every other wedding I've been in the bride only spent $15-$20 on each of us so I wasn't going to bust my budget.

You have so many BMs, to spend $800 on them would be nice if you could swing it but otherwise I think paying for their hair to get done is nice and a good bonding experience too.  If you've already spent $40, its up to you if you want to spend more. Everyone's budget is different too.

So I have three and I plan to buy them all something they would enjoy. Very specific to their personalities.  Or I will get them all some type of Bath and Body works ( or Victoria secrets scent).
And maybe a gift card for dinner.

I dont want to spend too much either because they are my sisters and they know my budget!! LOL

I haven't decided exactly how much I will spend but I will get them each something nice. I have 8 also so I will only do what my budget allows. As another poster said, these are friends so while it would be nice to wow them with a wedding gift, its not as if I won't be spending money on them throughout the year at some other point.

Understandable...In my case its a little different because we don't buy presents throughout the year...bdays, xmas etc....so I can't think of the last time I bought any of them a gift lol so with us our wedding day is the one day we buy each other something. But everyone should do what is comfortable for them.

I have 9 girls , 2 of which are getting married the same year and whose wedding I'm also in, we'll all be spending a lot next year. I've been accumulating stuff at the VS Semi- Annual sales that I am going to put into a cute purse for each one. I like the robe idea but if I don't get them in my $40 pp budget its not happening. I am also looking into making them homemade scrubs and soaps that I saw on a website

I have been thinking about this a lot too.  I am definitely buying their jewlery for them and then I want to get a tote(12), wine glasses(10-12) and maybe some small knick knacks but nothing big.  At this point I don't even know if my two MOH's are going to come.  I have been waiting to buy gifts for this very reason. I am considering buying their dresses ,and we are definitely at the drop dead dealing of getting those ordered to get in on time, but I don't want to buy the dresses and they still can't come. I don't know, smh, this whole thing with them maybe or maybe not coming is really starting to stress me.Cry

I think my gifts are coming out to around $20 per person.  If anyone should feel cheap then that should be me!!!... But I don't lol.  I'm proud of the gifts I'm giving.
