Tuxes

Ok so here are the tuxes I can't make up my mind to choose. I like the white and I like the tan with the grey only the vest would be red (I don't think they will be taking there jackets off unless they get too much to drink lol (open bar) The lady at savi said the light grey would look nice and you would not be able to see the grid in the pix, but I can see it in person & I don't really like it. What do u ladies think?

I made these guys lol

Re: Tuxes

  • I really like the first 1 but thats only cuz i'm doing a beach wedding and like that modern chic look but the second one is lovely especially for the more traditional...where did u create those pictures if u don't mind sharing
  • Yea, thats what I was thinking when I saw the 1st one like this would be so cool, but we are getting married in Oct
I went to mens warehouse to build a tux online and then changed the vest and tie in photoshop
  • I like the first and the last one especially...

  • i love the first and last photo! I'm no big fan of white tuxes though

  • We prob wont go with the last one b/c when we saw it in person we didn't like the texture, but the consultant was rite it does look great in the pictures. The light grey tux reminds me of those jackets with the elbow patch. Im 50/50 on the white Fi wants to wear white & it was actually cute on him but some say the groom shouldn't be in white and others say it doesn't matter. I just don't want to feel like im going to prom or for him to get it dirty.
Just out of curiosity why shouldn't the groom wear white...isn't it suppose to be a celebration of the bride and the groom? My cousin says its tacky & those are the rules! lol

I've never heard of any rules saying the groom shouldn't, personally, white reminds me too much of prom or a quinceanera that's why I've always been against it. ultimately its what you and FI want though so if he likes the white go for it!!

I do like the grey tux ... but it the wedding is informal, #1 would still work, esp if you're inside. I personally do not have anything against the white, but only when the tie/vest is gold, silver, or white. I've only it seen it done well with those rules are applied; but that'ss just me.

This first pic is exactly what we are doing so that's my first choice. Our colors are gray and yellow. Out of the ones you created, I like the last one...groom in a lighter gray tux.

  • Lol I asked my cousin who made these rules & she said it is a unspoken fact. So I said then why are you speaking it Lol. I still don't know...i think it would be easier if I could actually see him in the other two. When he did his preview he picked 3 different style white tuxes & 1 had pinstripes. Now since I'm a lil weird myself I don't really care much about being different but to prove that we shouldn't get too crazy. I tried on a bright orange dress and sent him a pix of the bottom since it had similar shape to my real dress didn't want him to see how I would look in it. He completely freaked out LMAO
  • I like this idea as well.. I really like the first one.
