Guests keep dropping off

In the last few days I have learned that 4 of my guests who said yes will not be attending my wedding on Saturday.   I completely understand why they cannot make the trip, but I really didn't expect people to fall off.  I was being unrealistic in that assumption I guess.  For those of you dealing with RSVP drama and people just showing up, keep in mind that there will always be somebody who will not be able to make it at the last minute and it will all work out.Wink

Sweet jess I know what you mean. I too have gotten a few rsvps saying they can come and they've called and said they couldn't make it. One family is my sister which is dissappointing, but i understand it's expensive for the 6 of her family to travel by car with gas prices and etc.... but i too hope more people "fall off" lol

At this point (5 days away) it's no big deal.  Everything is ordered and can't be changed now.  I know how you feel about wanting a few no's once you send the invites.  I say plan for 100 and pray for 85.

I'm so glad that I am no tthe only one. I sent out the first wave of invites and my rsvp date is Wednesday. So far people are dragging their feet to say they are coming. DiamonsGyrl you are better than me...someone rsvp'ed 9 people....I wish you luck. My guest list is 250 : 125 a piece give or take....I am also praying fro more regrets. I sent rsvps with the number already filled out. I sent my Uncle one with 3 to include my only girl cousin on my dad's side and he called somplaining that he needed two more. He just doesn't know I'm not increasing the number...I'll decrease it to 2 or none at all. And everyone wants to bring a friend...and I'm thinking if I don't know them, your not married, seriously dating or engaged why should I feed them WTH! So I wish ya'll luck...as I pray for less people too lol!
