Okay baby "you the man"

Ladies,

I was reading this article about letting a man be a man on necole bitchie's website and it was quite interesting. It gave 9 ideas about why men get irritated or feel demasculaed by women.

So in saying this what do you do for  your man or not do so that your man can feel like, "he da man?"

1.For me, I try to (and let me stress try) not always give him my opinion when he is telling me something that went wrong in his day. I try not to say well maybe if you did this versus this.

I do the same thing as pp.  Even if I totally disagree I just go with the flow.

I try to include him on decisions that I can make by myself, not dumbing myself down but asking him what he thinks about the situation and having more of a discussion, instead of just telling him what the deal is.

BTW (by the way) can you post the link to that lady's website?

My husband would kill me if I didn't offer an opinion. His mother is VERY submissive and allows her husband to "be a man" and be the "head of the household" and so DH has gone the opposite way.

Even if I'm apathetic about what to make for dinner he gets upset and says "You have to have some kind of opinion...." But I like it. He encourages me to challenge him & I do the same for him.

I think different men need to be handled different ways... Same goes for us ladies too!
