Well ladies, here's my daily update. I am feeling much less stressed today. Yesterday was nuts! I felt pulled in 50,000 different directions. I had major projects to finish at work, was trying to sell stuff on Craigslist, packed small stuff to move into FI's place, everyone is calling/texting/emailing about the wedding, answering the 100 questions my mom had (LOL), etc.
Yesterday afternoon was also stressful b/c how about my florist emailed me saying my ranunculus would not be available - that was to be the majority of my bouquet???? So you know I was on the verge of going crazy. She sent me a picture in the same email of some hideous white flower and said (and I quote) "I feel that I know your likes by now, so I went ahead and ordered these as replacements". OMG I was fuming. I emailed her and copied my wedding coordinator and FI and told her to cancel that order and that I wanted white peonies now. I know that's a more expensive flower, but hey she needs to figure that out right?! Got an email this morning that she can get white peonies, so I'm actually more excited now than I was about my original bouquet!
So after all of the drama yesterday.....today, I am experiencing PEACE! FI and I bickered last night for a while about something so unimportant. We ended up resolving it, but he called me first thing this morning to apologize and tell me how excited he was to marry me and how much he loves me, and it made my day start out great!
I went for an hour long deep tissue massage and my massage therapist said she's giving me a free massage after I get back from the honeymoon as a wedding present!
I helped FI by going to his house and loading the dishwasher, going through things and putting togther boxes to take to Goodwill, cleaning the kitchen, etc. I also brought a few more of my small bags over so we don't have to move them later.
I had two conference calls today and now I am done with work meetings! It feels so good to have just a few things to do, and then I will be OFFICIALLY on vacation!!!!
Good news #1: We had originally heard from Kinko's that it would take at least 24 hours if not more to blow up our seating chart. But when FI took it yesterday, they said it would be ready in a few hours (and it was) plus it was $15 less than they told us it would be! And it looks so nice and professional, I'm so happy with it.
Good news #2: My dress/veil were supposed to be ready tomorrow, but David's called yesterday and said it was ready so FI and I will go get it tonight so I don't have to get it tomorrow when family/friends are starting to arrive in town.
Good news #3: From doing my Jillian Michaels workout and really watching my eating for the past few days, I am looking like I allllllmost have a 6 pack! I think I'm working with a 4 pack right now, but I'll take it! LOL
Thanks again for reading my randomness!!!
