I am happy to have found this board so that I can share ideas and take some ideas from all of you. My wedding theme is basically what my title is for I am a southern gal and my fiance is Jamaican. We are basically blending our cultures together.

Food: We decided that we are gonna have different dishes that expresses our culture. So far on my southern side fried or smothered chicken, shrimp and grits, mashed potatatoes and greens or broccoli. On his side, jerk chicken, tilapia, peas and rice ( or rice and beans is what we call it) cabbage. We both agreed that we need to have bang bang shrimp. Its both of our favorites
Decor: No idea yet
Drinks: we decided to have two signature drinks: a southern peach martini and a rum punch of some kind
I am trying to think of other things to tie in to our them as far as trinkets, decor and etc by all means I am willing to take ideas!
