I know I'm a PW today, but....

I'm debating on whether I should just have somebody else pick up my dress so I don't have to drive 4 hours south then 4 hours back north.

This week has been exhausting and all I want is to relax this weekend- I've never been this tired before. I have a lot of things I need to do at home too.

Do you think I should just bear with it and pick up the dress, sash, and shoes on my own and be able to try it on at the store? Is it too risky to have my mom pick it up before I even try them all on? I also don't really know how I'd like to tie up the back of my dress (either leaving the long ribbon down along the dress or having it hid).

And not to mention it's my mom's birthday tomorrow.

What would you do?

What is a PW?

Anyway, you could check with the store if you can come back later if alterations or anything else is needed, or just for instructions. If so, you can always hear if your mother has the time.

I am required to pick up the dress within 30 days and I'm not using them for alterations. Going to a different tailor closer to my parents' house. She's a friend of ours. She would know how to work with a laced up dress, and can give us instructions, you'd think?

And this weekend is kind of the "best" time beacuse I am off on Monday. Only 2 day weekends for the next few weeks.

Go do it yourself. Try it on there and make sure everything is exactly how youw nated it. As soon as it leaves the store, your responsible for it.

I guess it depends. If your mom is willing to pick it up then why not? My friends dress came in and it didn't fit her, but she got home before she tried it on. They were really cool about taking it back and reordering it.

I would want to go down myself to make sure it is exactly what you ordered and such. Plus if its your mom's birthday you can visit her while your in town right? Also is there anything you can do or have FI do while the other one is driving?
