Lehnga shopping on Devon St. in Chicago or Online

I'm in serious lehnga crisis mode -- my reception lehnga from India is probably not going to cut it.  It's HUGE and we've altered it twice already and it's still too big and it's made out of this super heavy and rough/rigid material that is just going to be really uncomfortable for the 6+ hours I have to wear it.  We are still trying to salvage it but in the meantime, I would really love some advice on a good place to get a nice lehnga in Chicago.  I'm assuming Devon is it but does anyone have any experience on specific stores they have been to?  I know Sahil has stuff but are they just ridiculously expensive for no good reason as I've heard they are?  Any suggestions would be super helpful.  Alternatively, has anyone had any luck buying lehngas online and have they turned out well?  Someone mentioned maximstyles.com... anyone have any personal experience using them? Thanks in advance... this whole lehnga thing has me super stressed out!

OK I know this is a little late, but do NOT go to Dulhan.  It's on the south side of Devon Avenue, on the corner about a block or so west of Sahil.  They don't even have a real sign--just a piece of posterboard that says "Dulhan" in the window.  I had an awful experience with them getting alterations on a couple of lehngas I bought in India.  Even though I clearly told them that I only needed alterations, they kept pressuring me to buy stuff--total hard sell and totally obnoxious.  Then the first time I came to pick up my altered Choli, it wasn't ready yet.  Um, thanks... you could've called and saved me the 45-minute drive.  So I came back the next week, and they had made an absolute mess of it!!! I can't even begin to describe how bad it looked--it was not wearable.  So I asked them to just change it back to how it was originally.  They told me to come back tomorrow (I had told them I needed it the next day since I was leaving town).  When I came to pick it up they still hadn't done anything to it.  The woman working there (she seemed to be in charge) tried to insist that I pay for the work when they had ruined the piece!  She actually started to yell at me!!!  I told her she was crazy if she expected me to pay for her ruining my clothes, and I walked out.  My mom took the top to India with her the next month, and they did a great job with it.
