Are you taking your E-ring on your Honeymoon?

I already have a fake verion of my e-ring. I went to India a month after we got engaged and I didn't want to wear my real one (was there for both work and some family time) so I got a fake one from Macys. It was fine and I didn't feel like my finger was "naked".

I think it depends on where we would honeymoon, but I think if I traveled internationally, I would leave it and wear a fake version of both the e-ring and wedding band. (Not just for the honeymoon, but for future trips, too)

I am wearing mine - and wore it when we went to Italy last summer (FI proposed in June - we had already planned our summer vaca to Italy in Aug and thought for sure he would propose then).  I think my general rule of thumb for E-Ring and wedding band will be wear it unless we are going somewhere where I don't feel it is safe or if we are really roughing it (ie would not wear if I went back to Rio, wouldn't wear if we went on a safari in Africa, would wear to Europe, and parts of Asia... not sure on India - will figure that out when we go there next year)

I have read so many horror stories of girls who lost their rings in the ocean or while on honeymoon...either because they were stolen or were lost. That's my worst nightmare. I'm sure I'd want something for the weight on my hand but I wouldn't be so stupid to swim with it on. Anyone who has been near an open body of water knows that has to be a stupid idea...and it's damaging! I just worry so much about that so, when the time comes for us, I'm not sure what I'd do. Even the jewelry I have from my BF now, I don't want to wear anywhere too far away cause I worry about it.
