I am getting married in a few weeks when the Seattle cherry trees bloom. Tiny ceremony (10ish people) because we're driven by the schedule and unpredictability of the trees.
I couldn't envision me wearing white for an event like this. It clearly had to be pink. Very pink! And whimsical. And wild. And fanciful.
....I think I've succeeded. The bodice will get some final fitting a week before the ceremony (it's still a couple safety inches too big), then I'll finish the top hem. Otherwise, it's an actual dress with a zipper that fits me! OMG.
