remember the "ripping my hair out" post about FMIL?  oh yea...should be called FML instead! Aaaaaaaaaaah alcoholics ........... this time the annoying drunk turned into a mean heartless drunk and hurt FI's feelings so much, i've never seen a mother talk to her child that way..... needless to say apartment search is in process. asap.

ANYWAYYYYYYYS..... Mom and I got all of the invites stuffed & stamped and FI and I will drop off n the mailbox in the morning!

Can't wait!

Mom & I met the DOC at the Venue today and showed her around, its so pretty now that its summer! i havent been up there since January! that was a good relieving check to see what it looks like with the tents set up!

That is really lame about your FMIL. I have a similar problem with mine. She is an alcoholic, but an ARTSY alcoholic.... like there's a difference, but she seems to think so. And she tends to hurt my FI as well. Thank god we don't have to live with her though! So I totally feel your pain and hope you have great success with apartment hunting!

i'm sorry your fi (and you) are going through that with his mother. thats just so unfortunate, and i totally wish you luck in the apartment search!

we lived with my parents for awhile last year after our lease was up, and my stepdad got really mad at us one day for absolutely no reason, so we started hunting, and turns out it was the best thing for us, because we ended up buying a house! so hey, look at the bright side: everything happens for a reason.

nice checks, too!!!!! thats awesome that you got to see your venue all done up! how exciting! and now you get to mailbox stalk! thats been my favorite part!!
