Vendor Reviews and Pics!

So I decided I needed to stop being lazy and do this! The pics aren't pro, I have the pro ones but still need to go through them to see which ones I want to flaunt, :).

So reviews....

Tulalip Resort  A-

-Beautiful venue, extremely nice staff. Anything we asked for it was done fast. The only reason they get a minus is some little things that bothered me over the year. Our wedding night suite wasn't booked until I made them do it. I'm sure it would have gotten done on it's own time, but I wasn't comfortable having half my guests rooms booked, but not ours. The wedding consultant books the wedding night suite, so I had to be a little strong on that point.
-Some other things like we were told the pool room for our ceremony would be dehumidified 6 hours before the wedding, it was only 2. Don't advertise if that isn't the truth! Our chairs got set up less than 2 hours before the ceremony so the bows my BM and I made never made it on them.
-Cake cutting went, then there was like a 10 minute gap between before our guests cake was served. I thought that was a bit long. I could just be impatient, but that's just me.
-Other than that, again, beautiful venue, FIL and his GF got us a penguin ice sculpture and Tulalip took care of it! It was awesome! The food was amazing, they took care of all of our decor items and let us know where to pick them up the next morning. They provided votives and table numbers which I didn't know about! So I didn't have to use my cheapo numbers. Still put my votives out!
-The wedding consultant is very prompt and informative in his responses. I don't know how many times I emailed him and he was very patient and helpful.

I recommend Tulalip to everyone! Guests loved going to the casino throughout the night and it was fun for everyone!

Officiant: A Heavenly Ceremony   A

- Our Officiant was awesome. He wore a kilt to the wedding and looked cool. His wife gave us a handfasting ceremony to look over and DH and I fell in love with it.
-They gave fast responses, are great people and showed us the way through our rehearsal. Which was needed!
-Only thing I can say that is negative is that the mic went wacky during the ceremony and we had to turn it off, so no one heard our ceremony. Tulalip told him to wear the mic on his lapel, he wanted it on his book. I don't know where the blame lies, but oh well, shiit happens! Only downside.

I would definitely recommend them to everyone. They are so sweet and really care about marrying people. And they didn't try to push any kind of religious stuff on us, which DH and I really appreciated!

Dress: Alfred Angleo  A+ for me...... B for one of my BM's

-When I went a tried on dresses, AA was the only place I ended up looking. I first found the 'IT' dress online, went down there and they made me try on 5 other dresses just to be sure, but I ended up with the one I saw online. Love it!
- It came in on time and perfect fit. No alterations there. Only had to alter the bustle, obviously.
-The staff there is awesome, very friendly and helpful. This is the Tukwila store.
-Now, why my BM had issues, and me too. My BM ordered a separates dress, and the skirt was supposed to be knee length. Instead, a full length skirt showed up. My stubborn BM though wouldn't take it back, though I told her she needed to cause they would have to fix it. So part of it is her fault since I know AA would have probably reordered the skirt.  But I wasn't pleased they messed up the order. All the other girls dresses were fine.

I would recommend AA to everyone. They have a wide selection and plus dresses with color! And they are very reasonably priced. My dress was only 600!

Photographer: Don Milici    A+

- Don is a personal friend of DH's family and so he became our photog. He was funny, really knew how to work a crowd, and his pics came out great!
-His wife also did pictures, she went for the artsy decor pics, so it was like a 2 for 1 deal! Her pics are also amazing.
-And his youngest daughter was his assistant. Between every other picture she would race over to me, fix my hair, my dress, my bouquet, my stance, very professional!!

I would recommend Don to everyone. He is great and an awesome person! I have his info if anybody is interested.

Centerpiece Flowers: Arlene's Silk Flower Decor  A+

- Arlene is another family friend, almost an aunt to me, and she made all the centerpieces and my bouquet toss bouquet. She did a wonderful job, listened to DH and I on what colors we liked, what style we wanted. She also made our altar piece and I can't wait to use it in our house!! It's gorgeous!
-We went with fake flowers first, because it was her wedding gift so we didn't have to spend a lot of money. Second, we are giving them out as gifts to friends and BP that really helped out. They are great!

I would recommend her to everyone!

DH's Ring: Anthony Angel   A

-This is another friend, but a true artist in the Seattle community. DH's mom is an artist and he is one of her friends, so we got to have fun with DH's ring.
-Only reason he didn't get a plus is because we had to stay on top of him with communication. He was a little lax on time and stuff like that. I think most artists are kinda spacey? ;)
-Amazing work, he's very nice and I can't wait to buy more stuff from him! He also did DH's and my BIL's cufflinks. They turned out beautiful.

I recommend him to everyone!

Invitations: Wedding Paper Diva's   A+

-Great great great customer service!! I was very pleased. They called the day after I ordered my invites and made sure everything on them was correct. They also offered some suggestions on word changing and I ended up going with what they suggested!
-They arrived earlier than I expected and looked amazing, I love them!
-Their site is easy to use and I got them on sale! It looks like they go on sale quite often too.

I recommend them to everyone.

My Wedding Band: Fred Meyer Jewelers   A+

-Pretty easy part of the wedding process. We went in cause they were having their Valentine's day sale, and we found my pretty little thing.
-We ordered, it came in on time, and the price was perfect!
-Great customer service too.

I recommend them to everyone!

Wedding Day Hair: Hair Masters  A+

-My mom goes to this paticular salon several times a month and so the stylists really wanted to work on me and my girls. My paticular stylist whipped 4 of us girls right on out. She was fast and efficient and nailed all of our hairstyles that we wanted.
-The second stylist did two of my other girls and was perfect!
-The third stylist had only 1 BM and ended up not being able to do what she wanted. Granted, this BM picked a seriously crazy hairstyle and she knew where we were going. Those stylists may be good, but this was a better salon type hairdo. What she ended up with was awesome looking anyways and she was happy.

I would recommend them! This certain salon is around Juanita.

Bouquet Flowers: Pike Place Market   A+

-My BM's and I went down there and picked out random bouquets that had already been made. When we got home, my aunts helped us make them into what we wanted and they all turned out great!
-Plus, my bouquet only cost me 20 bucks!!

I recommend them to all.

Men's Wearhouse  A+
-I am happy to say, they didn't mess up!! I am so glad I can give them a great review.
-They were nice, we set up a group account that I could control online. I thought that was great!
-Whatever didn't fit right when it came in they fixed right there so DH was able to bring his tux right home.
This location was in Alderwood.

I recommend this LOCATION of Men's Wearhouse to everyone!

Wedding Cake/ Boutinnerres and Corsages: Top Foods  A++++++

-They were amazing!! The cake was yummy, looked pretty and wasn't very expensive.
-The bouts and corsages were great! I loved how they all looked and I ordered them a week before the wedding thinking I was cutting it close. Nope! I was just fine.
-I'm very happy with their service and would recommend them to everyone!!

Okay, so those are my main vendor reviews, can't really think of much else that was too important.

Now for some pics!!

Yes it was a penguin ice sculpture!! It was a surprise present for us and we totally loved it! Penguins were a reoccuring theme throughout the wedding since it tied in with the proposal.
