Any prayer requests or praises for this week?

Don't forget to pray for Drama1308 for her surgery on Monday and subsequent recovery.

Prayer- A man at my church, Mr. Frank, was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) 4 years ago.  He has done incredibly well so far, but is starting to degrade quickly.  I remember being able to still understand his speech back at Christmas, but today he asked me a question about the wedding, and "wedding" was the only word I could remotely comprehend.  He is married and has a 21 year old son.  He is still walking and breathing on his own, but all of that could change at any moment.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Praise- I FINISH SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY!!!!!!  I'm so beyond excited.  And we're leaving to take my stuff to Kansas on the 18th...as in 10 days...which I'm so not ready for (packing wise not ready...beyond ready to see FI, though!!)

Praise- FBIL started a new job as a car salesman last Monday.  Today was his first day on the sales floor.  (He was manager/salesman at a Pool/Spa/Fireplace store for 5 years until last week)

He needs to sell a minimum of 8 cars a month to pay his family's bills.  He is praying to sell 15, which is almost unheard of, but we know that with Jehovah Jireh it is possible.  I got a text from FSIL a few minutes ago...he sold a car today!!  The entire family is just estatic right now.

Prayer - that I make it through the next 24 days of school.  I'm so thankful that God is bringing me through this trial day by day, and It has NOT been fun at all, but the light is coming soon.  After the next 2-3 weeks of EOG testing and re-testing, we will have 2 weeks of school, so this is the homestretch.  Gotta push through!

Praise - FI and I had a lengthy discussion on Sunday and I won't go into too much detail, but it really helped us to resolve something that we had avoided talking about for a while.  And we're both feeling good about the way we communicated and how it all went and neither side felt "jipped" at the end of our discussion.  Now for the next 67 days before the wedding... it's going all too slow right now!!

Prayer - That my sister start behaving well at her school so that she will be able to go home and be with our other siblings still at home, and be able to see our mum.

Praise - My brother finally went out and got a job, after about two years. His spirits had been crushed a couple years ago, and he isolated himself for a long, long time because of it. He starts tomorrow :D

Prayer - If you think of this, could you say a prayer for my MOH, her boyfriend of 3 years cheated on her this weekend. He's been in the PeaceCorps and she's been away from him for a long time, here, supporting him, skyping with him, flying down to see him, and he did the unthinkable. She's completely devastated as they had talked about engagement into their future. Thanks in advance, I appreciate it!

Praise: My brother's deployment order got changed again (thanks army) and I was scrambling trying to get work coverage and change hotel reservations. My boss stepped up to the plate and said she would cover the stuff I was supposed to work and the hotel was able to change the reservation (we had an advance purchase where you couldn't cancel or change anything).

Prayer: My brother deploys next Tuesday. The day is getting closer and closer. I know God will have His watchful eye on my brother and keep my family strong.

I just prayed and praised God for the list above ... and I have to add something to the list too:

Praise: Last Friday my FI and I traveled down to see his family, and we stopped at the jewelery store to get his ring sent in for sizing!  Well.... it was good that we stopped, because had we not stopped, we would have been in the over 50 car pile-up on the interstate (I-85 near Burlington / Graham / Mebane NC).  It was a MESS.  We sat in traffic for 30-45 minutes before squeezing around the mess in one lane that they finally cleared off for trafic to go through.  PRAISE GOD That we DID stick with the original plan to stop and send in his ring.  Had we not, we were about 4 minutes of road behind the wreck, and we KNOW we would have been in the wreck.

Prayer: Two of the job opportunities I was hoping for next school year fell through.  (Music teacher).  They hired someone before the job was posted in one case, or I was too late in seeing the listing to be considered before they finished interviews.  Ugh.  I have applied for about 3 more positions this morning and hope to at least find ONE position that hasn't already filled the position, so at least I can get an interview.  We shall see... so the prayer is that God opens the right door and makes the timing work out on HIS time schedule, but leaves me in peace and not stressed about the next couple of months of potential job hunting.  I'm a 4th year teacher now, so i do have a leg up (hopefully), but it's still tough for "specials" or "elective" teachers because it's usually 1 per school.  I'm considering getting certified in special ed to make myself more versatile ... HMMM! :-)

prayer: please pray for my FI's back. He hurt it a few days ago and he is has been in non-stop pain. i am really really worried about him. He is supposed to start work soon.... but cant if this problem doesnt stop.
Also pray that my FI will continue to adjust well here and will get a vision for his life. He was going from non-stop ministry and non-stop leadership to none. its a little hard on him. He is soo excited to marry me and be with me.... but it is hard to think of all that he is giving up. Pray that God will just give him a vision and a passion inside him.

    thanks!

praise: MY FI IS FINALLY HOME!!!!!
