The Lord Provides... In HIS time!

Update:
I have an interview next week for a part-time job opportunity (holiday/seasonal work).  PRAISE GOD!!  It's about time.  Now, hopefully this job will have hours that I can work in addition to my teaching requirements... I have quite a few sick days saved up, and since the p/t job is seasonal, it would be prudent to actually take a sick day to earn extra $$, but I'd certainly prefer to keep teaching my wonderful students!!

My mom and I have laid the $$ issues to rest, at least until I hear back about this part-time job.  At this point, I'm prepared to let my volunteer stuff go if I have to, which will feel like I'm cheapening my life, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

Anyone else going through rough economy affecting your employment, AND trying to plan your christian wedding?

July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

I'm so glad you and your mom are working things out! It is difficult to prioritize when you have so much going on. I am a teacher also, and so is my fiance. He is also the head teacher in his building. We are planning our wedding too, plus we have a project and portfolio due at the end of the year for our tenure. We are also taking some classes here and there for grad school. It is a lot, but like you said, God WILL provide. It's all a part of His plan.

Congrats on the part time job! As for taking sick days to work at your part time job- be careful. I'm not sure what the rules are in your state or district, but I know that if we take a sick day in PA and we are not really sick and someone sees us somewhere, we can get in big trouble and possibly fired. Maybe look into what your state says about that before you do it.

Good luck with everything! I will say a prayer.
