I was wondering..do any of you know whether DJ services are taxed or not?

random question. haha. well the amount that jeff hill told us was 700 and that is all we are paying.. so tax wasn't added on top of that for us. but he could have pretended that it was included..

Thanks Sarack! I think I just really want to be able to afford a certain DJ that's kind of expensive and am getting overly nit-picky about how much I'd have to adjust the budget

I am almost positive we didn't pay tax on ours either. It could be it is included in the price. That is a good question to ask before you book.

I found out the answer! DJ's shouldn't be charging tax, but apparently there is legistlation that wants to tax all services. It probably doesn't matter that much unless booking someone with rates over 1000...and then it would really start to add up.
