    1.  Your Name & your Other Half's Name! Jessie and Cody

    2.  Your Wedding Date July 9, 2010--1 month today! :)

    3.   Your Wedding Colors dark purple and hot pink

    4.  Your Age - His Age - I'm 24, he's 23

    5.  Honeymooning where? We took a road trip up to Glacier National Park and then camped outside Jackson Hole for a coupla days.

    6.  Does your wedding have a theme? Maybe a tandem bike.  It was used in our invites & programs, on our cake, and we ended up with two at the reception!  We had a little Japanese flair with lanterns and 1000 origami cranes.

    7.  How did he propose? We were going to go snowshoeing on his birthday (Dec 31), but it was too windy.  He popped the question when we stopped at a nearby lake just to get outside for a bit.  It was sweet.

    8.  What do you think has been your biggest courting challenge as a Christian couple and how have you all overcome it? Wow, I don't know.  It was always really hard for me to be patient about becoming engaged, because I kept seeing couples that were together less time than us getting engaged and married.  I prayed alot to learn to wait for the right time for us to become engaged and married, and it really did end up working out perfectly.

    9.  Any advice for other couples? Take time for yourselves--go on a wedding-free date every now and then.  Talk to other married couples about the vendors they used before you book yours. Don't let others' opinions dictate what you want on your day, but keeping your guests in mind will help them to enjoy the day.  Remember that the most important thing is that the two of your will be married by the end.  And always put Christ at the center of your relationship!

    10.  What's your fave wedding movie? Runaway Bride.  I love Julia Roberts. :)

    11.  Fave wedding TV show? The only one I've seen really is "Say Yes to the Dress," but I can only handle a coulple of episodes before I start rolling my eyes.

    12.  How long between the proposal and the wedding? Just over 6 months.  It was long enough to plan a party and get the vendors we wanted, but short enough that the big day came quickly!

I like Runaway Bride too!  You know the scene where she walks into a church, down one aisle, past her groom and then out the church in the other aisle?  That church is only about 10 minutes from my house.  I went to a funeral there once.

Congrats on making it through your first month! Smile
