Reception/Ceremony Sites

My wedding is 10/16/2010. I am looking for a venue for both the ceremony and the reception (I'd like to have them in the same place, or very close). I am on a pretty tight budget as well. I have a large family and we'll have a good amount of people traveling...we're expecting anywhere from 100 to 150 people. Anyone have any ideas for me? I've reserved the Washington Park Arboretum...but as it turns out the space is too small for the amount of people I am expecting, especailly when you add in tables and chairs.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Check out Blue Ribbon Cooking Culinary School on Lake Union. I know it sounds funny but it's a beautiful location and they are very reasonably priced. I'm having my ceremony and reception there in February. They have what is called "All Inclusive" packages which include; flowers, decor, a wedding planner, the cake, etc. Check out their website

Good luck with your planning! Smile
