i need help with my mock veil...

ok, so i bought this material to try to make a veil before i cut into my 'good' netting. I'm trying to make a veil and i just can't get it right.. so here is what it looks like right now, i don't like the poof at the top and it is sticking to my hair/eyelashes. i think it is partially because the little openings are MUCH smaller than what i'll actually be using.. anyway.. here are two pics. Do you think that the veil is long enough on my face? I like it right below/at my nose. what do you think? please give me your opinions!

i think i'll cut up at the sides to try to get rid of some of the bulk on the top..

I like the length... You look great in a (fake) birdcage... makes me a little jealous! Wink
I think the other material should fall better?

I like the length too. Is it a perfect circle? Or an oval? Or teardrop shaped? I ask because I have no idea... (not making one)... and I would think any shape other than a circle would reduce the bulk.

it sorta looks like a fan actually.. like a japanese fan when its open a little ways... except it is flat on the back part.. haha.

thanks for your help. i think that the other material will fall better because it isn't as thick. :)

Length is perfect and I think it looks good from the front, but agree on the bit of pouf at the back needing to be reduced. Not sure the best way to do that...maybe try cutting out some V-shaped wedges at the back? The point of the v towards your face.

The length is really good. I'd try wearing it around for a while though to see how it moves. After we started doing pictures mine started riding up and I think it looks funny in some of my pictures.

I think some 'poof' at the top is to be expected though, I think it looks good even with it. I also 2nd that I think the Russian netting (As far as I know thats the 'good' stuff for birdcages) will fall differently. I had to soak mine in hot water to make it softer/more pliable.
