Wedding Woes

***Busy, I just saw your Tank post***

No joke, that was the thing that DH thought was hilarious and I thought was a little unsettling when we first started touring daycares.  There would be clusters of girls huddled around the easels, the dress-up chest, or just on the floor with blocks or whatever.  And the boys would be tearing around, occasionally trying to beat the crap out of each other.  I remember seeing some boys on the playground, and one was trying to climb up the ladder on this itty-bitty slide, and two other boys pulled him down onto the mulch and started pummeling him.  And all three of them were laughing!  That was the only time I patted my bump and thought "Please be a girl, because if you're a boy, I'm going to be in way over my head here."

Tank is hilarious.  I'm glad that he and Cobra are still BFF and apparently learned a good lesson about punching others in the face.

And I'm wondering if Cobra is his real name.  Yes, I didn't ask yesterday but I want to know.

It's the DNA.  PN is into shoes, not dresses though, just shoes and hair accessories.  Tank and Cobra love to wrestle.  There used to be three boys, TAnk, Cobra and Duke.  Duke ended up dumping Tank and Cobra as friends when they turned two years old.  He was more cerebral and into books.  The other two were just too rough for him.

One time Duke was sleeping on a daycare cot.  Tank and Cobra pushed the cot against the bookcase and used the bookcase to hold on to while they jumped on the cot.  They didn't jump on Duke but he sure was not happy about it.

O-face, those are not thier names.  LOL.  I changed it due to internet privacy issues.

I don't remember the actress but she was talking about visiting her son at daycare for Mother's day.  There was a gaggle of women all unkempt and a gaggle perfectly coiffed.  She talked about wanting to be like the clean moms.  Then she realized the clean ones were having tea parties with their daughters and the messy ones were wrestling their sons.

It was much funnier on Bonnie Hunt.

I rather wrestle with my kids than have a tea party.

What about a wrestling tea part? Wrestle, ding, go to the corners for tea, ding, wrestle, ding, go to the corners for tea...
