Thinking of you this morning.

I know you aren't comfortable with the second hand info from your sister.  Just a suggestion, call the doc directly and see if you can set up a time to discuss everything.  Even without major paperwork your mom can authorize this.

Thanks, 6. I just willed myself out of bed and am about to hit the showers. No new news on mom. Docs talked to her & sis last night, but sis won't tell me what's going on. I'm assuming mom told her she wanted to tell me & other sis. So now, I wait for mom's call. H was/is awesome. When I was crying last night he said, promise me one thing? And I said, what? And he said, you promise to let me know what you need. And then, wiped a booger from my nose. Goodness, I got me a good man.

Thanks, everyone.

H leaves at zero o'clock in the morning because he teaches really early, so I didn't see him this AM.

However, when I got out of the shower, I heard the coffee pot. He had set the coffeemaker for me. So even when he isn't with me, he is taking care of me.

I made sure to thank him last night for taking such good care of all of us. He said, "No problem. It's my job."

I'm really very lucky to have him. He started crying when I was really, really boo hoo-ing last night, and I think it's just because he hates seeing me so sad. I feel badly for how all of this is going to affect him.
