    I was Firstname until he was about 7.  I've been Mom for 3ish years.

    He and we have no contact with her.  The last time she saw him, he was maybe 2.  I know it was well before DH and I met and the kiddo had just turned 3 when we met.

    Oh yeah.  DH got sole custody by the mere fact that she didn't show up for the divorce hearing. 

    It's a very sordid story.  She sucks at life.

    Zsa, we had more contact with biomom a couple years ago.  She was actually the one who filed for custody and started the whole process in 2008.  She paid a lot of money for an attorney to never see him now.  It's pretty ridiculous.
