Wedding Woes

let's assume you want to

and cost isn't an option, and you've got a great dr, and you know all the health risk and blah blah blah

Re: let's assume you want to

  • I don't know.

Half the time, I really, really want to. I have this awful extra skin and tummy overhang after having a c-section, and it's the only part of my body I actively hate and think is gross.

But then I consider the recovery time and the pain and the fact that surgery is risky, and I'm kind of glad we don't have the money.

    is botox considered plastic surgery?
  • I wouldn't do anything to my face, but I could see the merits of a tummy tuck if having a baby tears up my body.

    This is me exactly.
  • I'd have a tummy tuck and boob lift if we had the money and were done having kids.
  • First I'd want to fix my eyes, as in Lasik (but I've heard I'm not a candidate).

Lipo would be on the list, as would be boobies. I'd do botox on the face, but I would not do much of anything else until it came time for a lift.

  • Min and I can hang out at the "after surgery" spa.

all i want is botox and lasik. that's it. i worry that if i have anything "lifetd", it will look like canteloupe skin if i lose or gain weight.

i'll also be at the spa.

  • There is a spa for afterwards?  Sign me up!

  • Oh, I'd do lasik, too.
  • I wonder who the other person who said no is.

  • Yes, but it would only be if I was able to lose a significant amount of weight on my own (no liposuction) and there was excess skin....because excess skin is creepy.

I've already had a breast reduction, but I'd love to have a tummy tuck.
  • i want to have a tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift.

i want to reach my weight loss target zone and be sure we won't be having any more kids before seriously considering it.
  • I lost over 100lbs and had a tummy tuck.  It is amazing!

  • Yes, nothing too crazy though.

I'm planning to have my boobs lifted with maybe a small implant if necessary after I'm done having kids. They seem a little deflated now. They're fine, so if it didn't happen, I'd be fine with that too.

A nose job is an option, but I think that hurts a lot, so I'm on the fence on that.

Maybe I'd try Botox in a few years.

  • Ummmm...  Lasik is not plastic surgery, people.
