What's up for the weekend?

- DH is planning to leave early today.  It might be a nice night for a family walk.

- Tomorrow night is my girls' night.  I feel like it's a first date- trying to figure out what to wear, what accessories, what hair do. 

- Sund church and play time.

- Monday we're meeting my mom, SIL, sis, 5 nieces and nephew and we're all going swimming.  It should be interesting but probably exhausting.  Especially since there will be a 3 hr round trip drive.

Tonight, movies with H. Our friend is babysitting and then spending the night.
tomorrow: coney island
sunday: hanging with same friend in her 'hood. Getting laundry done, and making more baby food.

I think it is going to be work work work. And a lot of talking. We have a big decision to make by Monday. Blerg.

Tonight - movie at friend's house.

Tomorrow - Zoo w/DD if she is still on the mend.  Maybe working in the afternoon.  IDK about night time.

Sunday - IDK.  Maybe farmer's market.

I'm going to the movies with an IRL friend tonight (not BFF); tomorrow is BFF's baby shower with a bunch of random people she knows from her mommies' group, so that should be no fun at all and probably start late. Ick, and it just occurred to me that they'll all probably bring their kids. I don't even like my own kid at this point in the summer; I'm about thisclose to slapping other people's. 

I'd better go to Target today for a present.

I'm also curious what 6let will do this weekend when he wakes up.  Since he's been in the big boy bed there has always been someone up in the morning that he goes to.

Tonight I'm going to dinner and a movie with some girls from work. DH's parents are watching Baby A.

Tomorrow I think I'll go to spin in the morning and then maybe Mommy & Baby yoga at 11. I haven't tried it yet, but it might be fun to kill an hour. I think I'm going shopping in the afternoon with a friend.

Sunday, yoga while DH's parents take Baby A to breakfast with GFIL. It's sad that he lost his wife, but breakfast every sunday with the family is a little much. DH's parents understand how I feel (they feel the same way). Then IDK. Laundry of course, but that's everyday.

Vegas for Blackhat/Defcon. He'll be back late Sunday night.

-We're going to the Symphony on the Prairie tonight.  There's a living history museum/park not too far from our house and the ISO puts on concerts there in the summer.

-Tomorrow-DH's graduation party.  It's going to be a monster.  And it's at my IL's.  So we're going to be over there all day (and night) to prep, party, and then tear down.

-Sunday-Sleep, sweet sleep.  And maybe some laundry.  But a lot of sleep.  I hope DefConn is on board with that plan...he's usually a good napper.

tonight: free ice cream in the park. Walking distance from our house, so we are def. going.

Tomorrow I am speaking at a local conference. (I get to hand out my fan thingies!) 40 minute drive each way, then I'll hang out for some other people's talks.

Sunday afternoon MIL is coming over for cake and ice cream for her birthday. SIL and NBIL will not be joining us, so YAY for that. 

I guess we'll be baking a cake either saturday night or sunday morning. Or I'll be buying one, but I'd love to be able to make it with the boys. ... Maybe H can do that on Saturday. I really don't have any patience for it and always ask myself why I thought it was a good idea when I do try those things. But I digress...

Sounds like you guys have fun weekends lined up, fo sho.

tonight - ? i'm leaving work early, stopping at the half price bookstore and target go get a birthday gift. already have dinner planned, so will make that too. maybe night swimming with DK?

tomorrow - talking Wolverine to a birthday party for one of the kids in the moms' group. DK is going to go to the movies while we're at the party. the party is at a gymboree (i thought they sold clothes, i didn't know they had parties too) at a local mall, so i'll probably do a little shopping before/after.

sunday - ? either hanging out at home or taking DK to the Star Wars exhibit at the Health Museum.
