Having 2nd thoughts about THE DRESS!!!

This is my first post to The Knot! I am just starting to get use to this New community... lol.

My wedding day is Sept of 2011 and because I have a buget I am buying things along the way so the buden isn't so great towards the end. So..... On Thursday I drove from Myrtle Beah to Florence SC to find MY PERFECT DRESS... and I thought I had. I tried on 3 and settled on the first one I tried on. It's BEAUTIFUL... However, that night I laid in bed and ALL I could think of what was WRONG with THE DRESS!!! (((sighs))) I sent pic's to my bridal party and they too said that although it's a Beautiful dress it's doesn't represent ME. Now I have to make the over hour drive back to Davids Bridal and start over. I believe I was just so excited that I didn't want to leave without having found THE DRESS. I know now to take my time and be SUPER SURE!!! I'll post picks of all the dresses I tried on in the near future....

Good luck with your dress! Hold onto your dress, continue to buy the things you need, and IF you find a new dress you can buy it if it's in your means, but be happy you already have a dress.

Also: you might try selling your dress on the trash to treasure board or I think wedding bee is also a place you can sell it. David's Bridal won't take it back, I'm fairly sure.

i felt that way too until i went in for my 2nd fitting and i fell in love with it again. i know its right for me because i get giddy when i get to see it!

Kiki is right..I also felt that way until the first fitting. It's amazing how the dress can change when it's fitted to your body!
