Puppy update

I got freaked because when I called to see if he was ready to come home yet, they took a loooong time to check and then said, "Yes, you can come in and the doctor will meet with you to update you on what he saw." 

But really, the doctor couldn't see anything on the x-rays.  I have pain pills and coritsone pills and orders for two weeks of no stairs or jumping.  That is always fun in a split level house.  Bring on the baby gates!

How is Stanley today?

He is moving slowly and I couldn't get him to swallow his pill this morning.  I've never had to give him non-chewable pills before.  His jaw is much stronger than Penny's.  But he doesn't seem to be in constant pain, just sore and some shooting pains in his legs, I think.

Glad he doesn't seem to be constant pain.  Re the pills - cream cheese or peanut butter is your best friend.  You could also buy pill pockets (I think Greenies makes them?) or, if you want to go really crazy, make them yourself:
